Apolinar Mendez led the Renacer Foundation/ La Fundación Renacer from 2000 to
2007. Serving tirelessly as president he oversaw its transformation from a personal
vision to help orphans and elderly women in the Dominican Republic from his own
limited resources to a non-profit humanitarian organization with programs that blessed the
poor in Colombia, Haiti, Honduras, El Salvador, New York City and his native Dominican Republic.

The Foundation's programs were originally funded by Iglesia Cristiana Renacer, Iglesia Pentecostal Peniel, private individuals and Mendez family members. The number of generous partners has grown over the years and we continue to forge relationships with contributors and collaborators - will you consider joining forces with us?

The Renacer Foundation's directors, officers and members do not receive salaries. 100%
of your donations pay for programs to fight homelessness, poverty and neglect of the elderly, free medical care missions and administrative/fundraising costs.
